Drink N' Draw: Go Fish!

This Skull-Koi was the product of another Drink N' Draw where i was trying for something tattoo like. I think I got there. I hadn't even finished it before someone asked if they could get it inked.

Drink N' Draw

The idea of the Drink N' Draw (D&D... haha, I don't care, I'm keeping it like that) is simply to drink while drawing. Bonus, unlike drinking and driving, consuming alcohol while drawing is not illegal, and that's a good thing. This Drink N' Draw was all about 'Eyes' and this is how it turned out.

Hey there friends.
Here's the thing: I like to sketch. Fact. I really like Doctor Who. Fact Too.
So then this evening while I was finishing up some tasty sammich dinner action, and catching up on some old school Doctor Who on the Netflix, I felt the need to combine these two things that I like and decided to have a go at sketching the Doctor. Specifically the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker. Also known as the one with the crazy long scarf. I quite enjoyed the sketching, and am also quite happy with the result. So I figured why not post the final product on my sketchy-designy blog type thing. Take a look, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Happy New Years friends, and welcome to the first post of the year. I know I've let my posting kind of fall to the wayside a little in the final months of 2010, and have many excuses. But excuses are merely just that. So instead of bore you to death with the blah-blahs I present to you a new pic!

I Have Not Forgot!!!

Hey friends, Your old pal Charlie Scream here! Just wanted to let you all know that I have NOT forgotten about this blog! I have just been busy with some projects / sick with a mean mamma-jamma of a stomach flu / been dragged into a horrible land of time-wasting video-gaming hijinx shenanigans! But enough with excuses. Here are some sketches that I would like to take to the tablet after some of my project work clears up. Especially the Coffee Monster... I think he would make a nice shirt design... which will then bring to light one of my often mentioned "irons in the fire". So... are you all still out there... I realize I haven't posted anything in months... not because I haven't been working on anything, but rather simply because I have been swamped with both Design and Band related projects. Hey kids, found an old sketch today and I just couldn't pass up the urge to give it a run through Illustrator. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, and I keep getting more and more into this style of illustrating... so... let's keep going yeah?
Also, the SwampGuy pic is still in progress. It'll be the most complicated thing I've done so far... so saty tuned for that! And hey don't forget, if you like what you see... tell your friends!!!
